Quality Analyst (Tester)

Responsibilities

• Create, plan, define, organize, maintain, write and execute test plans
• Ensure continuous improvement of test plans
• Develop and improve test and automation tools
• Document test implementation procedures for internal or customer environments that have special features to be released
• Find and document system anomalies during development
• Understand issues raised by customers and reproduce them in internal environments
• Clearly write up anomalies and submit them for correction
• Follow up and verify each of the anomalies following the corrections
• Verify the quality of deliverables and follow up with developers and analysts
• Reformulate the problem description to facilitate the identification of the functions causing the anomalies
• Participate in the definition and follow-up of the different project sprints
• Estimate the time required for tasks attributable to the realization of projects
• Contribute to the optimization of quality criteria
• Ensure the development and dissemination of documentation and training or information activities for users
• Collaborate with members of the development team
• Stay abreast of new developments to keep processes and systems up to date

Requirements

• You have a relevant background in computer science and office automation
• Your writing skills must be college-level, and your spoken and written French and English must be strong
• You have experience in automated testing and are familiar with Jira (asset)
• You know the approaches and techniques of web, mobile, software or software development testing (asset)
• You are familiar with quality assurance methodologies and technologies (asset)
• You work well in a team environment
• You demonstrate flexibility, respect, integrity, autonomy, resourcefulness, thoroughness and organization
• Your approach is structured and focused on quality and customer service
• You have good concentration, learning and adaptation skills
• You have good analytical skills and are willing to invest and explore
• You are self-motivated and enjoy new challenges
